We redesign La Tercera
in its 60th anniversary

The Chilean newspaper La Tercera, the second in circulation of the country in conflict with El Mercurio and one of the mainstream media in Latin America, turns 60. It does not in any way, but after nine months of intense and deep reflection, and presenting since 1st August an editorial and graphic novel proposal. Errea Comunicación has accompanied La Tercera’s team, led by Cristián Bofill, director, and Marcelo Godoy, Art director, during all this time and signs the graphic design that has reshaped not only the newspaper but also its weekly supplements Reportajes, Negocios and Tendencias, the magazines Mujer, Mas Deco and Club La Tercera, and the website www.latercera.com. The so-called Project 2010 was carried out with a circulation of 270,000 copies and in connection with the campaign "The world changes. La Tercera, the paper today ', which circulates through TV channels, radio stations, websites and promotional media multiple street.
La Tercera, founded in 1950, belongs to Copesa group, run by the businessman Alvaro Saieh and his son Jorge Andres Saieh. In Copesa there are other newspapers as La Cuarta or La Hora, the radio chain Dial, or magazines like Paula and Que Pasa. Although born as an evening and during its first decades remained a popular profile, La Tercera has experienced since 2003, under the direction of Cristián Bofill, one of the most renowned journalists of Chile, a major transformation that has taken it to be one of the two major quality newspapers in the country. Today, an influential and indispensable newspaper among Chilean leaders. Its circulation, about 100,000 copies from Monday to Friday and over 200,000 the weekend, is very close to El Mercurio, the traditional leader.
