5 July 2011
Errea Comunicación recently won a silver medal at the 41st Laus Awards for Visual Communication and Graphic Design, the most prestigious annual design contest in Spain. The prize was awarded for our work on the conceptualization, design and infographics of the 2009 Annual Report of the Commonwealth of the District of Pamplona, whose 2008 edition had previously won a bronze medal.
The award was presented this past Thursday, June 30 in Barcelona, during the 2011 Laus Awards ceremony, called the “Nit Laus” (Laus Night), at which a total of 30 gold medals, 86 silver and 151 bronze medals were awarded. There were 1,088 entries from the best Spanish communication and design studios and agencies.
The 2009 Report of the Commonwealth of the Region of Pamplona (www.mcp.es) is a condensed and entirely visual version of the data released each year by that organization (see www.mcp.es). It is purpose is to highlight the most important data of the year in each of the areas it manages, which are, namely, water, waste collection and treatment, public transportation and the Arga Riverpark, and communicate them simply and directly through graphics, visual metaphors, textures, color...
Furthermore, the report for 2010 has recently been completed and will soon be presented.
